The "Food Security & Climate Change Inspector Toolkit" is a way to explore the inputs and outputs of the assessment of food security of the United Arab Emirates under climate change. There are two versions of the Food Security & Climate Change Inspector, a "SIMPLE" version and a "MODEL" version.

The SIMPLE version of the toolkit provides individual access to each of the key input and output databases. After downloading the desired database, the user can then use any spreadsheet software to open the database and navigate as usual in spreadsheets, creating charts and graphs. The MODEL version of the toolkit consists of a graphical user interface that runs a macro-driven set of spreadsheets (built in Excel 64-bit version) to facilitate viewing data, creating charts, and generating reports. It also provides a way to test the sensitivity of the final results by changing key scenario assumptions. At present, this version of the Inspector is a test version open to all user feedback.
